As the Manager, Strategic Finance (Global FP&A and IR), you will…

  • Global FP&A
    • Develop and maintain 3+ year enterprise-wide financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
    • Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to evaluate various business outcomes and their financial implications.
    • Build and enhance financial models to evaluate business performance, capital allocation decisions, and strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry changes to identify opportunities and risks for the business.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis to support key stakeholders.
    • Support the delivery of annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts and long-term strategic planning efforts.
    • Provide cross functional assistance to other teams to support new and ongoing business initiatives.
    • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and alignment on financial goals.

  • Investor Relations
    • Assist in the preparation of investor communications, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and quarterly reports.
    • Collaborate with the Director, Strategic Finance, to respond to investor inquiries and analyse market trends affecting investor sentiment.
    • Manage all investor relations record keeping needs, which include investor meeting notes and correspondence, external and internal disclosure-related documents.
    • Support and/or lead competitive analysis, peer benchmarking and quarterly peer earnings summaries.
    • Support shareholder targeting efforts, including identifying and analysing prospective shareholders.

You would be the best fit for this role if you provide…

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Finance;
    • CPA, MBA, or CFA is an asset.
    • 5 years of experience, preferably with a publicly traded company, global organization, public accounting firm, management consulting, or investment banking.
    • Proven expertise in financial modelling, 3+ year forecasting, and scenario planning.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical reporting tools.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to gain a deep understanding of total business operations.
    • Experience in investor relations and supporting public company financial reporting preferred.
    • Experience or knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Manufacturing Planning is an asset.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to business strategy discussions.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
