Overview
The Client Service Manager-Energy is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day-to-day account management of an assigned group of accounts that vary in size and have relatively simple to moderately sophisticated needs.
This role directly contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
How you'll make an impact
- Review of documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals or cancellations
- Researches and investigates information to enable strategic decision making
- Preparation of all client-facing documentation including invoices and certificates of insurance
- Preparing client service summaries, program reports and client survey information for review
- Interpret instructions and issues, then implement actions according to policies and procedures
- Administration of client renewal process
- Supports one or more Producers and/or Account Executives and is the first line of contact when the Producer or Account Executive is not available.
- Coordinates appropriate resources to address the client's risk management needs.
About you
- Level II Alberta License is preferred; additional designations and certifications such as CAIB, CIP etc are of definite benefit but not mandatory
- Previous insurance knowledge, particularly related to an Energy practice, and experience managing client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; preference to candidates with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Proficient in using technology as a tool to enhance productivity and quality of work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required
- Proven success with comfortably engaging others in consultative discussion
- Successful track record of balancing multiple and sometimes competing priorities
- Works in a self-directed manner while also being successful at working collaboratively.
