Business Analyst

The Business Analyst (BA) is to be the primary voice and individual responsible for defining, cultivating, and translating the business requirements into technical requirements and designs. AFSC is currently seeking a BA with experience to join our Lending Operational team to support our Lending Application and Platform. The BA will work with the existing Digital Services Lending team as a resource in managing, planning, and working with business stakeholders.

What will you be responsible for?

• Plan and coordinate the identification, elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements.
• Participate in the documentation of "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
• Contribute to the establishment, development, and analysis of existing and new information management processes to meet requirements.
• Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
• Manage and execute the deployment and quality assurance processes related to the Lending Program.
• Contribute to the adoption of a digital culture by embracing and applying digital capabilities and agile methodology.
• Develop own capabilities by participating in formal and informal training; gain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years' experience in an Information Technology Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or similar role
• International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA) Certification or planning to complete is preferred.
• Experience working with Information Technology Service Management Tools for Change Management / Deployments
• Agile / Scrum Certifications considered an asset.
• Diploma in Computer Systems
• Platform Experience / Certifications considered an asset (such as M365)
• Business Relationship Management Professional Certification or planning to complete is preferred.
