\n What you will do\n

  • \nPerform reconciliation of various ledger accounts including Creditor related Suspense accounts.
  • \n
  • \nPerform procedural steps to create and calculate premium and marketing invoices.
  • \n
  • \nPrepare and upload journal entries as wells as weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • \n
  • \nReceives and responds to customer service inquires via phone, email, or fax.
  • \n
  • \nSupports team by ensuring regular attendance, contributing ideas, assisting in enhancing operations and customer service.
  • \n
  • \nMonitor and clear premium billing and adjustments accounting for all bill cycles.
  • \n
  • \nReconcile premiums, claims and compensation amounts to daily premium, claims and accounting extracts/reports and GL ensuring premiums are interfaced to the system.
  • \n
  • \nResearch, analyze exceptions collaborating with stakeholders for proper resolution.
  • \n
  • \nReconcile premium receivable and monitor/follow up settlement.

  • \nCompletion of bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with relevant experience in the financial services, insurance industry or related area in accounting.
  • \n
  • \nProficient efficiency using Microsoft Office products.
  • \n
  • \nProficient knowledge of insurance business and accounting cycle.
  • \n
  • \nStrong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • \n
  • \nLOMA 1 & 2 considered an asset.
  • \n
  • \nStrong influencing and presentation skills, and ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment.
  • \n
  • \nSelf-starter, who is meticulous and has strong analytical skills.
