In business for more than 110 years, the company operates 16 bakeries and employs approximately 4,000 associates across Canada. Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Review weekly and monthly results, performing variance analysis including volume, rate and mix
- Communicating business results to leaders in a timely manner
- Work closely with various stakeholders providing financial analysis on new product innovation, new distribution opportunities, product profitability analysis, and potential product discontinuations
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts to the finance and business teams
- Lead the annual budget process
- Accountable for development, production and optimization of information databases and standard reports
- Leverage previous experience and learnings to optimize current reporting, daily tasks, etc.
- Other Ad-hoc financial / business reporting as required #LI-Hybrid#LI-SO1
Preferred Hiring Criteria:
- University or College degree in Accounting / Finance / Business
- 2+ years of Accounting / Finance Analyst experience
- Actively enrolled in or pursuing a CPA or MBA considered an asset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with ERP (Oracle) and BI (Essbase, Dodeca) reporting tools considered an asset
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven team environment with limited supervision
- Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of audiences
- Experience in the manufacturing sector or consumer packaged goods considered an asset
