Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review weekly and monthly results, performing variance analysis including volume, rate and mix
  • Communicating business results to leaders in a timely manner
  • Work closely with various stakeholders providing financial analysis on new product innovation, new distribution opportunities, product profitability analysis, and potential product discontinuations
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts to the finance and business teams
  • Lead the annual budget process
  • Accountable for development, production and optimization of information databases and standard reports
  • Leverage previous experience and learnings to optimize current reporting, daily tasks, etc.
  • Other Ad-hoc financial / business reporting as required #LI-Hybrid#LI-SO1

Preferred Hiring Criteria:

  • University or College degree in Accounting / Finance / Business
  • 2+ years of Accounting / Finance Analyst experience
  • Actively enrolled in or pursuing a CPA or MBA considered an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with ERP (Oracle) and BI (Essbase, Dodeca) reporting tools considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven team environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of audiences
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector or consumer packaged goods considered an asset
