Job Description:

**This is a permanent role with the organization offering part-time hours (hours may potentially increase through time)

The role of the FC Administrator is pivotal to the smooth and efficient operation of a Financial Centre. The FC administrator maintains strong relationships with several business partners, to help create and maintain a positive and energetic work environment.

The successful applicant will be creative, an innovative thinker, ability to multitask with strong organizational and PC skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritize work with a sense of urgency as required.

What will you do?

  • Provide administrative and general office support aligned with all Sun Life policies and procedures

  • Answer telephone and greets clients

  • Process mail

  • Facilities management (premises & equipment)

  • Various reporting and administrative tasks supporting financial center staff

  • Coordinate meetings

  • Provide administrative support for the recruiting function

What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direction and frequent interruptions

  • Strong client relationship skills and a client centric mindset

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and have the ability to interact diplomatically with people

  • Team player who is willing to contribute and help others

  • Good knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook.

  • Ability to learn new PC tools quickly

  • Experience in an office environment, a client service roles, or in a retail store

assets/nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, SharePoint and Oracle

  • High school diploma with 3-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Some ledger or bookkeeping experience

  • Knowledge of financial planning and services

  • Experience working in the financial services or service industry

Unique requirements:

Travel is expected to other Sun Life offices, regional/ national training sessions or meetings as required.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
