As an Claims Representative II, Auto, you will work with customers who have experienced a loss to their automobile and have had a disruption to their daily routines, such as dropping kids off at school, commuting to school or work, or completing work tasks with commercial vehicles. Demonstrating empathy, care, strong listening skills, and organizational effectiveness, you will guide the customer through the process to get them back on track quickly and efficiently.

We are looking for creative and customer-driven individuals, with 1+ years of Auto Adjusting experience to join our growing team.

What you will do here:

  • Collaborate with the customer, appraisers, vendors and other key players to investigate claim details and gather information or documentation in order to make decisions to move claims forward to closure in a timely manner
  • Analyze the information gathered, interpret insurance policy wordings, determine coverage, liability and assess damages for the purpose of indemnity.
  • Maintain meaningful and timely communication with the customer via text, email and telephone
  • Identify process improvements, provide solutions and/recommendations to improve efficiencies and drive change to ensure effortless customer experiences
  • Demonstrate commitment to continued learning and being curious, keeping your finger on the pulse of market trends, including but not limited to, legislative changes to auto coverage within in each provincial jurisdiction
  • Adapt quickly to new & enhanced system/IT technologies or process improvements

What you bring to the table:

  • Passion for helping people during difficult times navigate the claims process from open to close
  • Experience negotiating total loss settlements
  • Experience determining liability percentages and settling losses
  • Desire to mentor new claims adjusters and collaborate with colleagues when reviewing challenging claims
  • Adaptable and agile in a rapidly evolving business
  • Demonstrates a passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • A forward thinker who is able to foster new ideas
  • Superior organizational skills and results-driven
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Ability to learn and work effectively in a hybrid environment

Our team operates in a partial queue system, balancing time between managing new claims and progressing existing cases to resolution. Our core business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM MST. You will be scheduled shifts within these hours, totaling a 35-hour workweek.

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:

$51,500.00 - $77,300.00
