The RBC Dominion Securities Vancouver Main Branch is looking for a licensed Client Experience Associate to join a highly successful Investment Advisor team.

Your role on the team will be to provide administrative support, including high quality proactive & reactive customer service, and develop relationships with new and existing clients.

What will you do?

  • This position calls on your client-focused service expertise to maximize each client interaction. Proactively engage in building rapport and maintaining client relationships.
  • Assist the Investment Advisor team with client onboarding, including preparing and executing account documentation.
  • Help manage incoming communications from clients and other internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate and prepare for client meetings.
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients. This includes managing timelines and key dates for accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
  • Manage the schedule of the senior Investment Advisor and assist in organizing client appreciation events, marketing seminars and expert online presentations.
  • Draw on your social media skills to update the team's communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, brochures, newsletters.

  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication in English
  • Aptitude to build quality relationships.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) and receipt of Investment Representative ("IR") securities license OR ability to complete within 6-12 months of employment.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures
  • Experience with Salesforce application
  • Experience in the Investment or Finance Industry

The expected total compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 depending on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, skills, registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn considerably more through RBC's robust discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
