Oracle EPM Technical Application Manager
Our West Fraser Vancouver Corporate office seeks a problem-solving and goal-oriented individual with 6+ years of consolidation and planning software experience to manage our cloud-based Oracle EPM application. This role leads a team responsible for system governance, design, configuration, testing, documentation, security, operation and maintenance of our Oracle EPM application while partnering with business leaders and EPM application users. You will develop and implement the EPM strategy and operate the application to support business teams in delivering robust and scalable consolidation, reporting, planning and analysis functions and implement solutions to maintain a reliable, high-quality application that can respond to changing business conditions.
Your work experience should include supporting the integration of Oracle EPM cloud with on-premises Oracle EBS. Our financial consolidations include foreign currency translations, intercompany eliminations, top side adjustments, KPI reporting, statutory/legal entity reporting and multi-GAAP adjustments, attribution and allocation computations, multiple consolidation levels, alternative hierarchies, and changes in ownership structures over time. Our planning module includes 24-month rolling forecasts and driver-based planning. You can navigate and train in Smartview and Narrative Reporting, including the HS-GetValue report writing function.
We seek a self-starter with excellent communication skills who thrives on teaching EPM best practices, seeking process improvements and ensuring quality work by themselves and the team. You will have a solid accounting foundation, be an experienced manager, and be a strong team player. You will need strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple business owners with competing needs.
