The West Fraser is seeking a Treasury Intern to join our Treasury team for a 4-month term commencing in January 2025.

Here's what you will do:

  • Performing vendor callbacks as part of key controls against fraud
  • Working with business partners to ensure accurate update of vendor records
  • Where possible, help identify opportunities to improve processes currently in place for duties performed
  • Other ad hoc treasury-related analysis as required

You will have:

  • Self-confidence
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable making phone calls
  • Detail oriented when researching vendor information
  • Represent West Fraser's values when speaking to vendors.
  • In the process of obtaining a Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree.

Work Conditions:

  • Office-based
  • Potential for occasional on-call duties
  • May require some evening and weekend work for system maintenance and updates

Compensation Package:

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The annual salary range is between $39,000 to $42,900
