EY's multidisciplinary Business Tax Incentives team, specializing in tax credits for Scientific Research and Experimental Development, SRED, is seeking an experienced candidate with a software development or information technology background to deliver advisory services to our clients in Vancouver and Western Canada. Opportunity:
As a Business Tax Incentives, IT Manager you will lead a team while working with a variety of clients from entrepreneurs to public corporations, to evaluate and prepare their SRED claims. Leveraging your thorough understanding of web technologies and software architectures, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers and data scientists to provide value to clients. This involves meeting with CTOs, Chief Architects, and Software Developers to assess the client's eligibility to receive funding, establishing how much they can claim, and writing technical project descriptions that detail the innovation and development activities for each project. You will discuss new prototypes, innovative software architectures, improved algorithms, and new frameworks This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a Computer Science degree and work experience in the field who wants to continue their career in technology with more exposure to the business and financial side of an organization.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia $92,000 to $144,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work city location.
