As a Financial Analyst, you will provide assistance with preparation and analysis of financial information and operating performance. You will also support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation to Finance management, leadership and operations teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial and operational reporting
  • Produce KPI / Scorecard reports
  • Produce flash reports
  • Produce stewardship reports, monthly profit and loss reports, FDA/MDA, expense/capital project and portfolio reporting
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required Analysis
  • Prepare variance analysis and financial/operational commentary
  • Perform internal/external benchmarking and competitor analysis
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required Planning
  • Provides support for budgeting and business planning
  • Responsible for generating forecasts
  • Support business case development and investment analysis
  • Business performance analysis
  • Mentoring and coaching more junior employees and or non-financial professional

Your Skills:

  • Strong analytical skill
  • Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines / proven ability to meet hard deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong delegation skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and/or Information Technology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in finance and/or financial applications
