Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, self motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting and forecasting.

Who you are
You have a worked in finance for a minimum of 3 years. You have experience in forecasting, variance reporting, and budget preparation. You have a high proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Unicom Budgeting system and Meditech Financial system would be considered an asset.
- University degree in Business Administration or Commerce/Community College with a focus in Accounting
- Enrolled in the CPA program would be considered an asset
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.
What you will do
Budget and Analysis
- Preparation of detailed forecasts and variance reports
- Analysis of financial and workload statistics
- Annual operating budget preparation and expense allocations
- Ongoing realignment and standardization of operating budgets
- Completion of special analysis or research to assist in establishing trends
- Coordinate information dealing with Corporate initiatives
Program Financial Liaison
- Provides leadership and financial advise to assigned portfolios/programs
- Provide training to Managers/Directors on Meditech Financial system
- Assist assigned programs with interpretation of their financial information
