As a Governance Reporting Analyst, you will enhance efficiency and accuracy by developing innovative tools and solutions. You'll ensure comprehensive tracking and real-time visibility into project progress and KPIs. Additionally, you'll design and maintain interactive dashboards and create visually compelling reports, providing a single source of truth for all project data.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps in current processes, research potential solutions, and implement tools that enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Develop or integrate tools that allow for comprehensive tracking and reporting of individual projects, which then roll up into a consolidated portfolio report

  • Ensure tools deliver real-time visibility into project progress, timelines, key milestones, and the overall health of the portfolio

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that provide real-time insights into key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders, create data models, and develop visually compelling reports. Ensure these reports are updated regularly and provide training to users on how to interact with them

  • Mentor and coach more junior employees

Your Skills:

  • Strong ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal direction

  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with keen outside the box thinking

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and deliver successful results within agreed upon timeframes

Your Experience:

  • Post secondary education or equivalent experience in IT, Business, or related field

  • 3+ years' experience in business analytics, including building analytical models and conducting thorough analysis

  • Mastery in advanced Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting

  • Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, and integrating Power BI with other data sources

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate
