As the Senior Analyst, Governance and Enterprise Risk Management, you will support corporate governance activities and our Enterprise Risk Management framework (ERM). Your goal will be to provide the organization with the necessary parameters to identify, assess, evaluate, and successfully manage its key risks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead aspects of the annual Enterprise Risk Management process, which is integrated in our planning process to identify, assess, evaluate and manage risks at the One Company and Business unit levels

  • Build and implement supporting tools and education to enable consistency in applying risk assessment criteria

  • Plan and facilitate risk re-fresh workshops across operating and corporate centres as part of the business planning cycle

  • Advocate and promote continued collaboration with other assurance functions including Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Program Delivery Office, and Compliance

  • Active involvement in Board Governance activities, including coordination and preparation of select board and committee materials, maintaining utmost confidentiality

  • Interact with the business to support development of clear, concise and compelling presentations

  • Coordinate and develop key governance processes and procedures, and ensure stakeholder compliance

  • Collaborate with the Advocacy & Sustainability and Grow for Tomorrow and other teams on various initiatives

  • Provide ad-hoc support and advisory services to internal stakeholders, as requested

Your Skills:

  • Experience with planning and facilitating risk assessment workshops

  • Strong well-developed research skills, comprehensive report writing, analysis and ability to present results to all levels in the organization

  • Ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages and informed responses in short timeframes

  • Effective management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, workloads and meet deliverables

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility with senior level teams

Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education - undergraduate degree in business

  • Professional accounting designation is considered an asset

  • 5+ years of experience in Governance and Risk Management

  • 3+ years of leadership experience
