About the role

We're looking for a Director, Property Claims, to join our growing team!

This role can be located in Dartmouth, NS/ Dieppe, NB or St. John's, NL.

What you'll do here:

  • Analyze, recommend and implement strategic projects to optimize supply chain management.

  • Ensure optimal performance of quantitative and qualitative indicators related to the operational performance of suppliers.

  • Analyze and implement all aspects and stages of digital compensation development.

  • Lead or contribute to national projects to meet quality, schedule and cost objectives while ensuring that projects meet the company's high customer service standards and objectives.

  • Participate in the operations and deployment of projects and collaborative policies by planning, directing and controlling the various operational phases.

  • Ensure constant and professional communication with the various business partners in order to establish relationships based on trust and collaboration.

  • Responsible for negotiating contracts with strategic suppliers.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, actuarial science, finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 10 years of experience in finance or property and casualty insurance.

  • Can set strategic direction and guide its execution

  • Project management and change management skills.

  • Good ability to build relationships based on trust and collaboration.

  • Excellent ability to work with and influence diverse groups.

  • Bilingual in English and French is an Asset
