Monitor exposures to ensure collateralization of bilateral repo deals and Triparty deals

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Support Repo Trading Desk by facilitating margin calls on bi-lateral repo trades and collateralization of triparty deals.

What will you do?

  • Monitor and facilitate collateralization of triparty deals
  • Ensure all deals covered by allocating with cash substitutions and keep front office informed of excess/shortfall
  • Report and monitor liquidity expectations throughout the day to ensure coverage for unwind and intraday funding where necessary
  • Complete all end of day reporting and reconciliations and send to necessary teams
  • Facilitate repo margin calls for DSIN and RBCT entities, resolve any trade flow breaks between Apex and ADP
  • Monitor exposure and execute margin calls for single entity margin counterparts as well as central book counterparts
  • Track interest and facilitate monthly payment for all margin counterparts
  • Escalate and resolve any margin disputes with assistance of repo desk in a timely manner
  • Report all unresolved margin disputes > 1MM to GRM Credit Risk team
  • Track and report daily Repo Margin call metrics
  • Provide vacation/back up coverage for fellow team members

  • Experience with BPS, Impact, CDS, Nexen
