We are currently looking for 2 Financial Analysts to join our Energy Delivery Finance team in Permanent positions. As members of the Finance team supporting Operations Finance, the Financial Analysts will be responsible for monitoring the financial results of various business units within Energy Delivery Portfolio.

- Work with business leaders to prepare budgets and forecasts
- Provide accounting for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes
- Provide detailed variance analyses to budget, forecast and prior year and monitor spending
- Complete monthly reconciliations
- Assist internal clients to meet financial goals and identify cost savings initiatives
- Presentation of financial analysis to internal clients
- Perform tasks with excellent overall quality, while being able to prioritize work to meet deadlines and identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.

You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:
- As the ideal candidate, you have a business or commerce degree in accounting or finance, a CPA designation, or working towards your CPA designation, and 3+ years experience in a similar role. Applicants with other combinations of relevant training and experience will be considered.
- You have excellent computer skills using Microsoft Excel and are comfortable using accounting software.
- You possess solid oral and written communication skills and have demonstrated success in effectively presenting and communicating ideas at a variety of levels.
- You have strong organizational skills, are detail oriented, and are comfortable working to deadlines.
- You can work well both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team. A working knowledge of Oracle Financial System, Power Plan and PeopleSoft would be considered an asset.
- You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.
