About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst with a strong focus on tax compliance and garnishment administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of U.S. payroll tax laws and experience with Ceridian Dayforce.

Your Responsibilities

Tax Compliance:
o Ensure accurate calculation, reporting, and remittance of federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
o Stay current with changes in tax legislation and adjust payroll systems accordingly.
o Assist with payroll tax audits and inquiries from government agencies.


Garnishment Administration:
o Process employee garnishments including child support, tax levies, and creditor garnishments.
o Communicate with employees and external agencies regarding garnishment orders.
o Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments in compliance with legal requirements.

Ceridian Dayforce Management:
o Utilize Ceridian Dayforce for payroll processing, focusing on tax and garnishment modules.
o Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for the Dayforce system.
o Collaborate with the HRIS team to enhance system functionalities.


Payroll Reconciliation and Reporting:
o Reconcile payroll tax filings and garnishment deductions.
o Prepare and review payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
o Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience with a focus on tax and garnishments.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce, including its tax and garnishment features.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Your preferred qualifications

• Experience working the manufacturing sector preferred.
