P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.
From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Acton, Hanover, Hamilton, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.

Your Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems and Logistics Analyst to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing logistics processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing key analysis to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running numbers, procuring quotes, analyzing lane rates, and working closely with various stakeholders to streamline logistics operations.
Day to Day
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of logistics and supply chain data within our TMS (Transportation Management System) and other relevant systems. Regularly audit data for discrepancies and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Analyze and report on transportation and logistics metrics, including cost, performance, and operational efficiencies. Provide insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
Research and solicit quotes from freight carriers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service levels for transportation needs.
Assess and manage lane rate pricing across transportation routes. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to negotiate and lock in competitive rates while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Utilize the TMS to optimize transportation processes. Recommend improvements based on system performance and operational needs.
Work cross-functionally with finance, and supply chain teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with data integrity management, ideally in a logistics or transportation setting.
Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferably Descartes
Strong analytical skills utilizing Excel and the ability to work with large datasets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to procure competitive quotes and manage vendor relationships.
