We are seeking an individual who specializes in Electrical Engineering, with experience in outside and inside assets such as Switch Yard, Class IV power and distribution, Class III Power and generation, distribution, motors (VFDs), lighting, building automation, energy center, and energy meters, to represent the Asset Custodian and Operational Authority (OA) and Client on assigned Infrastructure assets supporting Enhanced Safety, Effective Management of Risk, Continued Compliance, and Improved Reliability. CNL works with employees across our Canadian locations to enable remote work when possible. This role requires regular work at CNL’s Chalk River Laboratory site while also permitting the employee to spend the majority of their time working remotely, should they so desire. CNL employees who choose to work remotely the majority of the time are provided with the equipment required to be successful at their remote workplace (laptop, chair, monitor, etc.); however, they are not provided a dedicated onsite office. CNL’s Chalk River laboratory is nestled in the Ottawa Valley. It affords our employees an area that is environmentally pristine with extensive forests, hills and numerous small lakes, all of which support a variety of wildlife typical to the southern edge of the Canadian Shield. Many surrounding towns, such as Pembroke, Petawawa and Deep River, provide you with unparalleled outdoor adventures at your doorstep!
