Systems Engineer I

As a Satcom Systems Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the verification and validation of satellite communication avionics systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful testing and validation of our Satcom products. Your expertise in testing methodologies and procedures will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Kanata location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cutting-edge satellite communication systems, ensuring their performance and reliability. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for product improvements. Your work will contribute to the success of our Satcom products and help us maintain our position as a leader in the industry.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearances.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute test plans for Satcom products
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications
• Ensure the quality and reliability of Satcom products through thorough testing and validation

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as aerospace, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 4 months of experience within the Aerospace or Telecommunications industry
