You as a Banking Analyst will:
- Perform monitoring and accounting for cash, investments, debt, and letters of credit
- Assist with operation and maintenance of bank accounts, including new account setup, KYC, maintenance, and closure
- Assist with issuance and maintenance of letters of credit, including documentation, review and payment of related fees, modifications to existing letters of credit and
cancellation - Initiate daily payments and other banking transactions
- Assist with reporting packages for management, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the month-end close and year-end audit processes including preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with invoice and payment reviews
- Assist with other finance / accounting functions, as required
Is this the right role for you?
- You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- You have experience with corporate treasury functions and banking platforms
- Experience with lending agreements and related compliance is an asset
- Experience with accounting / ERP systems is an asset
- You are a well-organized, proactive and detail-oriented individual able to self-manage and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- You have strong attention to detail
- You possess strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
