Overview
GGB's Claims division in Ontario is hiring! As the Claims Advocacy Associate, reporting to the Claims Director, you will be providing support to the Gallagher Ontario Commercial Claims team. This role is a phenomenal entry point for anyone looking to build a career in the insurance industry!
Work Environment Hybrid (Agile) – We at Gallagher enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office. This position can be based out of Gallagher's London, Stoney Creek or Markham office locations.
How you'll make an impact
- Data input using EPIC, Word and Excel
- Maintain, coordinate and update files
- Connect with adjusters with respect to open claims
- Process all incoming mail in a timely fashion
- Receive and report minor new claims from clients
- Assist the Claims Advocates with workload as the need arises
- Work on special Claims projects as the need arises
About you
- Completion of post-secondary education within the Business Insurance programs considered an asset for this role
- RIBO, CAIB or CIP designations or courses completed towards designations an asset
- Client services and/or advocacy experience within Commercial or Personal Insurance considered an asset
- RIBO designation is required to be attained within 6 months of starting this role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- RIBO License required to be attained within 6 months of starting this role
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi‐task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines
