Job Summary

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Director of Accounting in ensuring compliance with essential key financial controls and regulations. This role involves reviewing and approving client contracts to facilitate their setup in our external operating systems, preparing reports, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, the Compliance Analyst will oversee SKU setup and associated costs to ensure alignment with current market trends. This position requires the ability to analyze and interpret data, develop and maintain compliance procedures, and identify and resolve compliance issues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, demonstrate keen attention to detail, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.


DUTIES

Oversee and approve the setup of all new customers in third-party operating systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Review and approve the addition of all new SKUs to third-party operating systems.
Monitor and approve changes to customer names and addresses to ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
Supervise and approve modifications to SKUs resulting from packaging changes or fluctuations in supplier pricing.
Provide guidance and support to staff regarding compliance issues.


REQUIREMENTS

3 to 5 years experience in a compliance role
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
Knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards (FAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with compliance regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Cantaloupe, Great Plains and Watertight and Acumatica would be ideal but not necessary.
