What is the opportunity?
The Director, Product Enablement and Delivery role will be responsible for development, design and management of Insurance Product Strategy and leading the go to market of key initiatives as well as measuring and monitoring performance metrics in order to strengthen our RBC's leadership position within the Insurance industry. This role will work closely with all partners across the business to launch and grow these products and act as the focal point for enterprise initiatives.
What will you do?
•Lead the advancement & implementation of strategic Product & Pricing initiatives designed to create areas of significant and sustainable competitive advantage related to client experience and achievement of financial objectives
•Inspire and lead a high performing team to develop best practices, go to market strategies, and identify cross product synergies & opportunities.
•Support product development and product management teams on ideation, business casing and understanding the financial impact, helping to prioritize ideas amongst entire Product and Pricing team.
•Work closely with other strategy leads and leaders in Operations, IT, and Sales/Service, support RBCI strategic priorities, including alignment across all lines of business and identification of cross-selling opportunities where appropriate to grow our existing product portfolio and take the lead on the market introduction of all products and provide input on strategy and product roadmap.
•Work with cross functional teams driving the operational success and related process change that will ensure product investments are successful in the hands of our clients and represent product on Digital team squads providing requirements and ensuring successful launch
•Accountable for the success of the portfolio of product related projects and initiatives including communicating the strategic importance of projects to gain support (funding and buy in) to ensure success of initiative and investments.
What will you need to succeed?
Must Have:
•Minimum 8-10 years of experience in go to market, product release and/or product management
•Progressive Insurance industry experience (Life, Health, Wealth, Group or Travel insurance) or related business and/or consulting experience
•Enabling organizational readiness for the introduction of new products and features including shifting to digital platforms, monitoring to ensure processes are being followed and measuring outcomes
•Ability to think strategically and creatively with demonstrated ability to drive innovation with a focus on a differentiated client experience
•Storyboarding (PowerPoint) and structured problem-solving experience with complex data (Excel) and information from multiple sources into straight forward conclusions and recommendations
•Lead execution of complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities with impact and influence
