Job Title: Security System - Application Engineer

Location: GTA, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - 72,000.00 annually

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled System Security - Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, programming, and testing of security systems, including VSS, ACS, and IDS. You will work closely with our technicians, installers, and customers to ensure seamless installations, technical support, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Commission and program VSS, ACS, and IDS systems before installation to ensure all equipment is functional and configurations are accurate.
  • Conduct tests to verify equipment functionality, ensuring a smooth installation process for technicians and installers, and minimizing warranty return visits.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date CAD plans and customer documentation, including quick how-to guides.
  • Provide on-site, phone, and remote assistance during installations, ensuring adherence to customer-specific standards and maintaining consistency across multiple sites.
  • Offer technical support via phone and remote channels to technicians and installers, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Provide comprehensive training to customers, thoroughly explaining the use and functions of their camera system and addressing questions both during and after training sessions.
  • Offer ongoing technical support to end users through on-site visits, phone, or remote assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with VSS, ACS, and IDS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CAD plans and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience providing training and technical support to customers is a plus.
