As a Director, Strategic Product Development, you will be an individual contributor, responsible for driving innovation with the various product groups across Residential Lending Solutions (RLS). In this role, you will be primarily external-facing with our major lender customers, but you will work cross-functionally with the Product Directors, Enterprise Sales and Lender Relations to ensure strategic customer engagement that is highly focused on future trends, product needs, emerging technologies and market shifts. You will be accountable for gathering insights from our customers on future opportunities and bringing them back to the Product teams in a collaborative way. In addition, you will be supporting internal partners on these opportunities that drive product team execution, meeting project milestones dates, participating in key decision-making elements and where needed escalating issues.HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
Responsible for translating ideas into concrete strategies, products and/or processes. Manage the execution and delivery, provide ongoing support for the business, and monitor success of current and new products.
Ensure the proper delivery of product development projects. This includes preparing the visioning, concept validation and final validation sessions. Develop, propose, partner with Product Leads to execute roadmaps, communication, and implementation plans and business cases.
Support the full product lifecycle from concept through to final execution and post implementation, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Identify high-level delivery processes and work collaboratively to support cross-functional teams/internal stakeholders (i.e., Marketing Sales, Operations) across the company to ensure the effective and successful implementation of new products and enhancements.
Perform market and competitive analyses to monitor and stay abreast of current market trends and issues, identifying business opportunities, assessing competitive offerings, and anticipating changing needs. These insights should be largely drawn from ongoing and proactive customer engagement at the most senior levels.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with applicable customer constituents and ensure they are receiving stellar customer service.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
7 to 10 years of experience in Senior Product and/or Enterprise customer relationship roles
Familiarity with current product development methodologies (lean framework/agile development)
Demonstrated ability to manage a product through all phases of product lifecycle: understanding market needs, understanding go-to-market activities (i.e. Customer Development), and defining/owning the customer experience
High level relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to sell concepts and benefits of new products.
A solutions-oriented problem solver
A strong leader who is self-motivated and able to work well independently or within a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and all customer constituents.
