The IT Security Operations Unit provides the City's technology security expertise and security operations necessary for ensuring the identification, assessment and mitigation of technological threats, risks and vulnerabilities to the City's IT infrastructure, assets and electronic information, and overseeing the resolution of any technology security incidents.
You are responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day delivery and operations of technology security programs aligned to corporate security policies and guidelines established through the Chief Information Security Office and/or corporate cyber security governance.

You are also responsible for managing the unit's human (including contracted services) and financial resources, and stakeholder and partner relationships.
Completion of a 4 year university degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems security, business administration or other related field.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the detection, control, management and mitigation of technology security threats, risks and vulnerabilities, including a minimum of 3 years in the management of human and financial resources.
