• This is an exciting role ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal person is curious, empathetic and collaborative. As a Sr. Full Stack Designer, you will be key in testing new ways of delivering value to Sun Life clients and should enjoy to be involved in all parts of the product development and design process.
• This role will be best suited for a inquisitive individual who thrives in abiguity and continual problem solving.

Preferred skills

• Demonstrated ability to understand information architecture and build and organize stakeholders.
• Understanding of UX principles and methods, human factors, and usability testing
• Creativity and problem solving, with affinity for graphic design.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively work with development teams, business units, and product managers.
• Hands on experience planning and executing user research, usability testing A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and identifying accessibility concern.
• An attitude that is open to learning and feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud environments and tools as well as Figma, Wrike, and MS Office.
• Minimum functional understanding of front-end languages and systems (HTML5, JavaScript, frameworks, and Cloud)
• Prior experience in startups or early product prototyping is essential.
• A minimum of four years' experience in UI design using best practices, and a deep understanding of functional and responsive design as well as lean startup principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead net new business discovery and prototyping.
• Communicate effectively results, outcomes, and learnings with global stakeholders.
• Work within a strategic innovation capacity to create smart solutions to client and business problems/opportuities.
• Identify new opportunities based on tangible work outcomes.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
