Your Impact

  • The Technical Business Analyst role consists of understanding core system features and functions to assess clients' business requirements/needs and determine how to best meet those requirements. The BA will design the user experience, recommend operational flows, identify required reference data, and map alternate forms of data collection.
  • Functional knowledge required includes an understanding of financial services with knowledge of sash management and payments. Specific knowledge of payment messaging, such as EDI, EFT, ACH, SWIFT, FED, and familiarity with ISO20022 is a significant plus. This knowledge can be from either a financial services market participant or vendor or from a corporate treasury office or vendor to corporate treasurers.
  • The BA will review, write, and update requirements, functional specifications, and business processes related to proposed solutions.
  • Create business process review documents to deliver analysis results.
  • Define and document interfaces within application subsystems.
  • This role is integral throughout the entire project lifecycle from conception to production delivery ensuring key business requirements meet client needs.
  • The expectation is to take ownership of projects by bridging the gap between clients, development, and support teams. Be involved beyond solution go-live requiring interfacing with clients for initial onboarding, training, and support.

  • The Senior Technical Business Analyst will be integral in addressing these markets. Working within a tightly knit team of BAs and Developers we look to reduce the time to delivery of client-driven projects and grow features and functions across a growing client base.

What you need to succeed

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree and experience in financial services or corporate treasury (Payments, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
  • Knowledge of and experience with payment messaging for corporate and/or banking, with specific experience with at least two of EDI, EFT, ACH, SWIFT, or FED plus a familiarity of ISO20022 formats for payments.
  • Track record of identifying and simplifying unnecessarily complex processes
  • Excellent verbal communication skills - this role is client-facing.
  • Excellent written communication skills - designing and documenting requirements
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of applications that support financial services (payments, cash, lending, or corporate treasury)
