Your Impact:

A Business Process Analyst role at OpenText involves problem solving, operating and improving a wide variety of Engineering processes, tools and reports, and working on special projects.It aslo nvolves supporting cross-functional projects and analysis within the expanding Engineering organization's PMO Business Process team. This role includes providing PMO leads with standardized reporting and presentations, preparing variance analysis for large expenditures, building positive relationships with FP&A, HR and IT partners, participating in process improvement initiatives, supporting ongoing projects and integration activities, analyzing ad-hoc requests, and documenting processes for continuous process improvement efforts.

What the role offers:
As a Lead Business Process Analyst, you will:

  • Take ownership of solving problems identified by leadership, engaging with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify options and recommendations
  • Design, delivery and analysis of insightful reports and metrics that require working with multiple different tools and sources, engaging in follow-ups, performing analysis and creating summaries.
  • Define, improve and operate a wide range of standard processes, for development, product management and cross-functional activities
  • Manage special projects of many different types, including development, compliance, and business, that require the ability to clarify the requirements and goals, collect input from multiple stakeholders, perform analysis, track risks and issues, and share project updates
  • Assist with acquisition integration activities
  • Analyze and respond to ad-hoc requests from across the company

What you need to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in software development or PMO organization
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, interview stakeholders, and gather inputs from a range of sources, and communicate findings to business partners, supervisors and peers
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with technical staff and cross-functional peers in other departments (Cloud, Support, Sales, Marketing, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to diverse audiences at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Process improvement experience
  • Project management experience desirable
  • Eagerness to take on new challenges and learn about new subjects
  • Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
