Job Summary

As an Enablement Intern on the RBCI Digital Strategy, CX and Design Team, you will collaborate with team members and act as a key contributor in enabling the success of a high performing, cross-functional team. This role will support the execution of our enablement and engagement strategy, coordinating team meetings and sessions and providing logistical support for team initiatives. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and when applicable, partners in the broader Digital org to streamline workflows and document processes. You will have the opportunity to identify and action on areas for improvement to ultimately contribute to and achieve organizational objectives.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Team Engagement: Building connections with colleagues and stakeholders to support team success. You will play a key role in championing and executing engagement focused initiatives such as team socials, sessions and offsites to drive forward a culture of collaboration and trust.
  • Employee Enablement: Support on execution of our Enablement roadmap through various identified initiatives including workshops, documentation and project management and training & development.
  • Operations: Assisting in overseeing team operations by maintaining documentation and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflows. This includes supporting in administrative tasks, helping to streamline communication and improve overall team efficiency. Involves identifying continuous improvement opportunities from process gaps and recurring errors which can be resolved with training and learning tools.
  • General Team Support: Provide flexible support by handling ad-hoc tasks and addressing team needs as they arise.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on Business, Social Sciences, Humanities, or related discipline
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Experience formatting/creating PowerPoint templates, Excel sheets and Word documents
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High flexibility and adaptability to change in an evolving and collaborative cross-functional team environment
  • Comfort working independently and adhering to committed deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working in an agile team / working environment
  • Experience using collaborative team software including MURAL, Confluence and Jira
  • Background knowledge or previous experience working with Design, CX or Digital Marketing teams
  • Prior experience in training and presentation delivery
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Insurance Industry
  • Understanding of effective delivery toolkits such as Agile and Design Thinking

· Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or

· If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
