Supplier Management:
• Participate with the ongoing management of CRE's Suppliers and fourth parties in accordance with RBC Third Party Risk standards and CRE Supplier Management Guidelines, ensuring compliance with applicable RBC policies
• Assist the team to ensure continuity and compliance is achieved of the CRE portfolio on the Third Party Risk Framework and the Supplier Relationship Management Playbook.
• Identify potential areas of opportunity through cross functional partnership review and /or analysis of industry and suppliers.
• Assist in updating processes to align with Third Party Risk and other applicable RBC policies related to CRE Suppliers.
• Support the enhancement of existing processes through innovation and automation.
-Assist in ensuring an optimal risk level is maintained across the global CRE supply base
General:
• Define and solve problems in creative/innovative ways
• Plan, execute and ensure ongoing continuous improvement mindset
• Generate and recommend approaches, improvements & solutions to meet RBC's needs
• Partner with the Global Supplier Management team to deliver on tactical solutions related to the evolution of 'ONE CRE'.
• Partner with the Functions SMO, TPR & Procurement to provide value added services on the Third Party Risk framework, where necessary.
• Establish and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal & external stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives.
Must-have
Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited University
An interest in the Corporate Real Estate industry; prior experience is not required, but the ability and willingness to learn quickly is a must
An interest in supplier management/compliance within Corporate Real Estate
Strong business acumen and analytical thinker
Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with senior management and external parties
The ability to work independently as well as be able to collaborate and work effectively in teams, with internal departments and build partnerships with stakeholders
Technical Skills
Microsoft Office proficiency - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Intermediate Excel skills are necessary - eg Pivot Table, Index Match
Nice-to-have
Experience with reviewing and/or drafting contracts
Advanced computer skills
Advanced Excel skills to automate a reporting process in order to update & generate a report, eg Macros, VBA (visual basic)
