Leverage portfolio data to prepare clear, concise and insightful analysis on top/emerging risks and key
trends within the BFS portfolio
Participate in analytics design sessions, providing input, gathering and documenting business requirements,
and helping formulate an analytical framework to develop effective Risk Management reporting
Develop a subject matter expertise, in all manner of business and risk datamining activities
(activities include, but are not limited to data analysis, aggregation, interpretation and
recommendation)
Investigate new industry leading data tools and methods to be leveraged in data mining,
analysis & visualization
Participate actively in the exchange of knowledge relating to products, data& analytical methodology
Provide analytical support on Ad Hoc requests originating from various stakeholders
Must-have
Degree in quantitative field of study (e.g. Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science) - to demonstrate capability for critical thinking and data analysis
SQL programming and experience; expertise with MS Office Suite Knowledge and working experience with RBDM and visualization using tools such as Tableau
Strong data manipulation capability using financial formulas and SQL
Strong business and data acumen
Effective and equally conversant in translating technical expertise into business language that drive insight.
