We are recruiting for an experienced Corporate Development Analyst professional to join our Corporate Development team. This role can be based from our Downtown Toronto Head Office.

This is an on-site position.

Job Overview:

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating potential acquisitions and supporting various corporate initiatives. This versatile position involves conducting financial analyses, assisting with due diligence, managing acquisition reporting, and preparing presentations for our Executive team and Board of Directors. You will also engage in special projects and other tasks as required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Assist in the due diligence process, ensuring thorough evaluation and documentation.
  • Manage and report on the acquisition pipeline, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and assist in the creation of presentations for the Executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate on special projects and ad-hoc tasks to support corporate development initiatives.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or related fields.
  • Experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting or professional accounting is considered an asset.
  • CPA, CBV, CFA or MBA is considered an asset.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Microsoft Excel with advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of basic finance concepts and financial statements.
  • Ability to think analytically and provide actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to speak and read in French is considered an asset.
