What is the opportunity?

Provide key support to the Equity Trading desk. Accountable for the facilitation of the Equity trade process. Provides analysis for implementation and improvement of processes, workflow, project management methods, computer systems and other tools to support customer service. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

***Please note, this is a contract opportunity ending July 2025***

What will you do?

  • Directly correspond with Global Equity clients with respect to trade matching, allocation and settlement of equity trades

  • Trade allocation (Foreign and Domestic)

  • Oversee client trade matching and settlement issues (Foreign and Domestic)

  • Amendment of any trading issues (Foreign and Domestic)

  • Updating and opening of client accounts

  • NCIB and ATM program operational support for corporate clients

  • ETF subscription/redemption processing

  • Developing appropriate project management procedures and tools for all major activities; assisting members of the organization in the use of project management methods and tools.

  • Determining needs and suggesting solutions for administrative improvements in procedures, processes or systems to support other functions.

  • Identifying needs and suggesting solutions for customization or alterations of technical tools to support unusual or new business requirements.

  • To collect and analyze information

What you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Canadian Securities Course, or any Canadian Securities Institute Courses

  • Proficiency in French
