Primary Responsibilities:
Process transactions in ACBS upon requests from assigned Borrowers for advances, rollovers, conversions, or repayments; ensure notice and limit requirements are met, participants are notified, rates are set, and payments are made in accordance with the relevant Credit Agreement.
Process interest and fee transactions in ACBS as required by the Credit Agreement.
Where instructed, notify syndicate of pricing and limit changes as required by the Credit Agreement and within established time frames. Create and obtain EUC approval for manual spreadsheets as necessary, to record all transactions and calculations that cannot be processed in ACBS.
Where required, arrange for the return of any shares/other possessory collateral to Lenders' counsel and arrange for cancellation of outstanding LC's if held as collateral.
Maintain a series of Word templates with up-to-date standard instructions to be used as needed for notifications, letters, and fax coversheets.
Input payments in RBC Express, RFT/RFX, RIMMS as required for payments which cannot be processed through ACBS.
Manage and monitor accounts requiring special handling - Special Loans Accounts/Draw Advisory.
Assist Deal Managers on assigned Term Loan B deal closings.
Check ClearPar and settle secondary assignments, settle manual assignments, and follow up with Primary Assignment Non-funding items. Process CUSIP Fee and ClearPar fee payments once invoices are available.
Assist with the daily reconciliation of the Agency internal accounts by following up for missing or excess funds.
Process TAX withhold (withhold interest and advise lenders and tax team).
Investigate ACBS, LCA and OMS reports daily and input comments where required.
Advise lenders for pricing changes.
Respond promptly to Borrower or Lender requests/inquiries.
Act as a backup to other Analysts and provide training to new hires when required.
Identify gaps in processes and recommend changes to minimize operational/reputational risk.
Details regarding the types of experience required:
Knowledge of lending products, rate-setting methods, and payment methods
Proficiency in Excel, Word
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Proven ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; detail oriented
Ability to respond effectively to requests from borrowers and participants especially for accommodations which fall outside the parameters of the Credit Agreement
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of ACBS is an asset
