What will your typical day look like?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating information requests and data collection related to monitoring activities, also interaction with client service teams as needed around information provided. You will also execute monitoring activities to assess compliance with firm policies and processes, identify issues and propose recommendations to improve quality control processes Perform reporting on findings, trends and statistical analysis.

About the team

Deloitte's National Risk & Independence Group is seeking a Risk Management co-op/intern. This role will be a part of the team responsible for continuous monitoring and process improvement to improve compliance with firm policies. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for assessing compliance with the Regulatory Rules and Firm Independence Policies.

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Enrolled in a post secondary program such as business, commerce, analytics or has completed risk management courses
  • Strong business acumen with solid analytical skills, conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset

The salary range for this position is $48,500 - $55,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
