What is the opportunity?
As we delivery on key priorities as part of our Insider Risk program, the Associate Director, Insider Risk Program Management will work closely with the program lead and extended team(s) on end-to-end program delivery, governance while bringing together people and processes focusing on the improved oversight and controls across RBC.
You'll work closely with partners in Insider Risk, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Technology and Data & Analytics teams to help enhance foundational program coverage and management. This is a unique opportunity to help lead and protect RBCs people, assets and clients while collaborating with cross functional areas.
What will you do?
Program Delivery: help manage and deliver the program management roadmap while ensuring timely implementation of controls, processes, and toolsets aligned to the strategy.
Coordinate Workstreams: Act as the central program integrator across key stakeholder groups including IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Security Operations functions.
Operationalize & Controls: Create and maintain program governance documents while establishing operational playbooks, workflows, and tracking of key deliverables.
Project Management: Apply structured project management methodologies to ensure consistent execution, stakeholder alignment, and successful risk reduction capabilities.
Metrics & Reporting: Define and track program-level KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate progress, compliance, and maturity.
Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and lessons-learned cycles to continuously refine program delivery and enhance enterprise value.
Audit Readiness: Support audit, internal assurance, and reviews while ensuring documentation and evidence are complete, current, and aligned to ongoing compliance requirements.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
5+ years of experience in program management, risk or compliance program delivery, or large-scale project management in a regulated environment.
Proven ability to drive enterprise-wide programs across highly matrixed organizations.
Strong project management skills and familiarity with agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies.
Ability to manage competing priorities and lead multiple concurrent workstreams.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business audiences.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or project/portfolio management platforms.
Nice-to-have:
Certifications such as PMP, CISM, CISSP, or Certified Insider Threat Program Manager (CITPM).
Understanding of data governance and privacy concepts.
Experience with organizational change management or strategic communications.
Background in financial services or global enterprise environments.
