What is the opportunity?

The purpose of the role is to provide strategic leadership and direction for the digital portfolio, ensuring successful delivery of client-facing and intranet technical solutions. The Associate Director, Project Services will lead in planning, organizing, and implementing complex application delivery projects.

The incumbent of this role will drive operational excellence, support revenue generation, and ensure cost-effectiveness across the portfolio. The Associate Director Project services will also help to improved client satisfaction, optimized resource allocation, and enhanced compliance with regulatory requirements.

What will you do?

  • Schedule and organize project meetings; participate in project tracking, analysis, and reporting

  • Coordinate and report on the progress made on projects and accomplishments made with clients

  • Participate in developing each phase of the project management process including developing project plans, justifications, roles, responsibilities and reporting procedures

  • Providing technical and analytical support to project team members. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with teams across Capital Markets, Enterprise, Wealth Management, and Investor Services.

  • Oversee the efficient allocation of resources and budget management

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • University degree in a related discipline along with 3-5+ years' experience

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, strong presentation and communication skills

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills: ability to story-tell leveraging PowerPoint

  • Ability to tactically respond to things and strategically set direction

  • Possess can-do attitude and love working in a team environment

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing landscapes

Nice to have:

  • Capital Markets knowledge or experience

  • People management experience

  • Project Management experience

  • Knowledge of RBC internal related systems and applications
