Job Description

What is the opportunity?

RBC Wealth Management's Toronto-based Portfolio Advisory Group ("PAG") provides independent investment advice to over 2,000 investment advisors working under the RBC Dominion Securities ("RBC DS") banner in Canada. The Canadian Equity Portfolio Advisor will support the broader team's efforts to provide RBC DS investment advisors with high-quality advice as well as support Portfolio Managers in the stewardship of the team's equity portfolios.

You will respond to a wide-range of equity-related queries from investment advisors, support the equity team's portfolio management process and contribute to the production of thought leadership. You will communicate the team's insights via one-on-one interactions with advisors, flagship written publications and branch presentations. • Coordinate and contribute to the team's written publications including the daily notes, the Global Insight series, portfolio quarterlies and ad hoc strategy notes.
  • Prepare and deliver equity-themed presentations to RBC DS investment advisors.
  • Contribute to a positive working environment where teamwork, diversity of thought and mentorship are viewed as crucial ingredients to PAG's current and future success.
