What is the opportunity?
RBC Wealth Management's Toronto-based Portfolio Advisory Group ("PAG") provides independent investment advice to over 2,000 investment advisors working under the RBC Dominion Securities ("RBC DS") banner in Canada. The Canadian Equity Portfolio Manager will help RBC DS investment advisors effectively manage their clients' portfolios.
You will work within a team of PAG equity advisors to provide comprehensive guidance across asset allocation, equity strategy, portfolio construction and individual security selection. You will play a lead role in the management of PAG's Canadian equity mandates. You will also communicate the team's insights via one-on-one interactions with advisors, flagship written publications, branch presentations and client events.
The ideal candidate would have at least ten years of equity portfolio management and/or research experience with a focus on Canadian equities. This candidate would possess an analytical mind, intellectual curiosity, a team-first attitude, exceptional communications skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
