We are actively seeking a Developer to join our high-performing Core Banking Services Technology team. As a pivotal member of our growing team, you will play a crucial role in our agile technology delivery, contributing to the dynamic evolution of our systems. You will focus on Core Banking Services technology domain like Billing and Pricing and your role includes delivering of the banking solution using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and other leading-edge technologies, maintaining high level of code quality, and driving technical discussion.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications using Java programming language.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications and provide timely resolutions.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to improve the quality and performance of applications.

  • Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of code.

  • Implement security measures to protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation to ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer.

  • Participate in positively transforming the culture to one focused on engineering, feedback, and sustainable outcomes.

  • You have a passion to work in a fast pace high performance team and having a desire to take the team towards the next level

  • You have passion on learning new technologies

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required .

  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language (Java 17 and above).

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring security, Spring web, Spring batch etc.

  • Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.

  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MSSQL & MongoDB.

  • Must have experience in Spring Boot with Kafka connectivity.

  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Ability to test the APIs using Postman.

  • Strong skills in addressing coding issues reported by scanning tools such as Sonar, Aquascan, Fortify, Checkmarx and Blackduck.

  • Frontend skills such as ReactJS, NodeJS, Javascript.

  • Experience with version control systems (Github/Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

  • Experience in dealing with JIRA ticketing system.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of software development principles and methodologies

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on a Billing or Pricing platform
