What is the Opportunity?

In this role, you will play a leadership role in helping to facilitate a long-term transformation across our channels, which will be a major driver of productivity & strategic flexibility across Digital and Personal Distribution. You will be accountable for bringing together cross-functional groups to facilitate a bold target state vision for how we will engage, service & sell to clients across our channels in the future. You will be accountable for leading project teams to meet the defined goals and objectives of assigned channel transformational initiatives, through effective consulting advisory skills, use of tools, techniques and methodologies. In addition, you will also roll up their sleeves and dig deep into analyzing the economic/financial implications of channel and distribution changes, foundational capabilities required to hit our targets (digital assets, people & process investments) and how we can best organize to deliver change in a client-centric agile structure.

What will you do?

  • Partner with leadership & functional experts to align on a common vision for the future role of our channels: mobile, online banking, physical branches, contact centers, and ATM
  • Structure disparate sets of insights into a clear story to effectively communicate insights and organize trade-off decisions for senior leadership
  • Analyze P&CB's channel economics, including a detailed understanding of our current cost-base and productivity opportunities, building strong business cases
  • Work in collaboration as a trusted partner to ensure that the channel projects within a program portfolio are aligned to the overall distribution goals, operational processes, revenue and cost saving targets
  • Build deep relationships with line-of-business and delivery teams to prioritize, structure and launch new channel initiatives

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 5-10+ years in strategy development, consulting and/or organizational transformation; experience with agile methodology or in a distribution functions would be an asset
  • Proven track record of leading strategy workstreams end-to-end, building alignment and driving towards decisions across a diverse set of senior leaders
  • Strategic thinking capabilities, including the ability to carefully clarify ambiguous concepts, structure logical arguments, and think in first principles
  • Excellent communication skills; bringing together complex ideas into a clear, compelling and actionable story
  • Exceptional comfort with ambiguity, and a willingness to move forward independently to identify opportunities to add value
