What is the opportunity?

This role leads the operational risk, resilience, reporting/monitoring areas of the Wealth Management Technology (WMT) 1B risk management function. Technical leader with ~3 direct reports (total team size of ~7), and expert understanding of operational risk and data analytics, providing risk management and reporting services to : application development, support teams and the Wealth Management Business. Services provided cover IT & operational risk analysis, risk & compliance exposure reporting, risk awareness & advisory, and regulatory response.

What will you do?

  • Lead creation of periodic reporting for WMTS global, regional risk profiles and key initiatives
  • Lead campaign execution, ensuring committed dates are met.
  • Lead Operational Risk Event and Integrated Risk Profile reviews
  • Manage technology currency roadmap and prioritization for WMT
  • Lead Disaster Resilience compliance and roadmap for WMT
  • Act as WMT product owner for risk dashboards, ensuring appropriate prioritization and stakeholder engagement takes place.
  • Lead preparation and execution of executive level (VPs and Senior Directors) risk profile meetings.
  • Oversee service management (e.g. Change and incident management) for WMT

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Expert communication (verbal and written) skills, including strong appreciation of relationship management.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Specifically, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expert knowledge of data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau and PowerBI)
  • Strong knowledge in IT and operational risk management methodologies/frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF and COBIT), methods and tools
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience covering disaster resilience (e.g. DR strategy, testing and monitoring), operating systems (e.g. Unix, Windows, zOS) and database systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2)
  • CRISC Certification

Nice-to-have

  • CISSP or CCSP certifications
  • Knowledge of GRC tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Archer)
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management/Financial Services industry
