Summary
You will play a crucial role in financial management and reporting within the Bell Business Markets Finance group. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented, self-starter individual with exceptional collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of revenue recognition principles, coupled with strong accounting and analytical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial support to BBM.
- Execute all tasks related to month-end financial analysis, including billing accruals, anomaly investigation, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Offer guidance on planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate revenue projections by month and product portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee precise reporting of revenues.
- Actively participate in the revenue recognition process, collaborating with sales and controllers teams to maximize revenue recognition through margin analysis.
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis for senior management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Critical Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of financial or accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Capacity to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and timely reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) or actively pursuing one.
- Familiarity with SAP and BI systems.
- Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles.
- Flexible schedule during quarter-end periods.
