Summary

You will play a crucial role in financial management and reporting within the Bell Business Markets Finance group. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented, self-starter individual with exceptional collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of revenue recognition principles, coupled with strong accounting and analytical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial support to BBM.
  • Execute all tasks related to month-end financial analysis, including billing accruals, anomaly investigation, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Offer guidance on planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate revenue projections by month and product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee precise reporting of revenues.
  • Actively participate in the revenue recognition process, collaborating with sales and controllers teams to maximize revenue recognition through margin analysis.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis for senior management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Critical Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of financial or accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Capacity to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and timely reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) or actively pursuing one.
  • Familiarity with SAP and BI systems.
  • Solid grasp of revenue recognition principles.
  • Flexible schedule during quarter-end periods.
