As an Associate in Global Valuation Services at JPMorgan Chase, you will work within a team to deliver accurate and timely asset pricing. You will maintain a strict control environment, perform value-added analysis, and collaborate with internal teams to develop scalable production processes. This role offers the chance to learn new automation tools and take ownership of processes to improve capacity, efficiency, and control. The Global Valuation Services group provides firm-wide training to improve skills and learn new capabilities. You'll have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, cross-train new hires, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture. Your role is crucial in driving solutions across organizational boundaries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to ongoing developments of the pricing control process.
  • Resolve issues escalated by the team.
  • Identify control gaps and implement solutions.
  • Leverage industry experience to improve processes.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and auditors.
  • Conduct pricing research promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Cross-train new hires and current employees.
  • Operate flexible working hours as needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, or Pricing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including vlookup, pivot tables and macros.
  • Effective communication skills within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of financial market activities, equities, derivatives and fixed income products.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Previous team leadership experience.
  • Experience with process improvements.
  • High aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Knowledge of pricing vendors like ICE, Bloomberg, and Reuters.
