Under the general direction of the Manager HRIS, the HRIS Business Analyst is responsible for managing projects and providing support and technical expertise, testing, configuration and customer support in all areas of the university's Human Resource Information Systems, including SAP human resources and payroll, automated time collection, recruitment, and talent management systems. This position will also have specific responsibilities for the day-to-day management and operation of the University's talent management system and will be the lead in conceptualizing system changes to integrate with the University's faculty and staff recruitment and onboarding business processes. The incumbent will plan, evaluate, install, implement, and configure changes and upgrades, and recommend solutions to application issues to enhance system functionality and business processes, and will prepare documentation, reports and provide user support. The position prepares reports and provide analysis of data for Labour Relations to be used for collective bargaining; works with Compensation and Labour Relations to prepare and analyze data in preparation for bargaining and makes recommendations to Labour Relations on the timing and system changes required in the implementation of proposed settlements of union agreements.
