WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

A Lead Compliance Specialist in the IT Asset Management Data Governance team oversees the lifecycle of IT assets while ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures. Establishes effective business unit compliance programs to prevent or identify illegal, unethical, or improper ITAM practices. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Developing, initiating and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the ITAM and its related activities.

  • Monitoring compliance of ITAM and providing guidance for the management team on matters relating to compliance.

  • Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

  • Responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have

  • ITAM ServiceNow experience.

  • Experience working with complex data and performing data analysis

  • Superb analytical and research/problem solving skills with a high attention to detail along with the ability to be proactive when performing comprehensive data analysis to measure data quality against KPI targets and publish scorecards for ongoing monitoring

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial sector and/or compliance, with regulatory reporting experience & operations experience

  • Audits Compliance, Detail-Oriented, Critical Thinking, Data Gathering Analysis, Decision Making, Industry Knowledge, Internal Controls, Interpersonal Relationship Management, Risk Management, Strategic Thinking

Nice to have:

  • ITIL v4 Foundations Certified

  • Lean Six Sigma Belt

  • CPAM, Certified Associate in Project Management

  • Project Management Tools: Jira, Confluence
